Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients has not been established.
Locoid Lipocream® (hydrocortisone butyrate 0.1%) is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Contraindicated in those patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation. Prolonged use may produce reversible HPA axis suppression. May cause local adverse reactions including burning, itching, irritation, and dryness.
